Once enrolled, Qcells will automatically manage your system when an event is called by your utility to deploy energy from your Q.HOME CORE energy storage system to help stabilize the electric grid. Each event is 1 or 2 hours that could occur anytime between 4-9 PM in May-Oct. The normal frequency is 1-5 times per month in May-Oct, with no more than 35 times per year.Remember, this participation doesn’t impact the bill credit you’re receiving for exporting power to the grid during the events! And you have the ability to control how much capacity you’d like to deploy during the events.
- Earn Cash!
You will receive an upfront eGift card after enrollment, and then an annual eGift card after every year your Q.HOME CORE battery system is part of the program!**Amount of eGift card and timing of distribution for subsequent years of participation is subject to change. Customer’s Q.HOME CORE battery system must remain continuously enrolled in the Qcells Grid Service Program in order to be eligible for an eGift card.
